What Trackzy is

Trackzy is a voice-first calorie and macro tracker for Indian food. You say (or type) what you ate — in English or Hinglish — and Trackzy estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat and fiber, and tracks your daily progress.

Data stored on your device

Your profile (name, age, gender, height, weight, activity level), your calorie/macro plan, and your full food, water and weight history are stored on your device (browser localStorage). This data does not leave your device except as described below.

Voice & text food input

Optional account & cloud sync (when available)

If you create an account (phone number OTP login), your profile and logs are additionally stored in our database (hosted on Supabase) so you can restore them on a new phone. Your data is protected by row-level security — only your logged-in account can read it. Without an account, everything stays on-device.

What we don't do

Service providers

Hosting: Vercel. AI parsing: a third-party AI language-model provider. Database & login (optional accounts): Supabase. Each receives only what is needed to run the feature.

Deleting your data

Age requirement

Trackzy can be used by people of any age, but if you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian's permission to use it, and they should oversee how you use it.

For users under 18, Trackzy does not show BMI, a healthy-weight range or a goal weight. Those figures are based on adult formulas; children and teenagers are assessed on age- and sex-specific growth charts by a clinician. Targets for anyone under 18 should be set with a doctor or paediatric dietitian.

Health disclaimer

Trackzy is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. All calorie, macro, BMI and target numbers are general estimates based on standard formulas and typical Indian portion sizes — actual values vary.

Consult a doctor or registered dietitian before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have any medical condition (diabetes, heart, kidney, thyroid, etc.), or take medication.

If you have, or have had, an eating disorder, calorie counting may not be right for you — please talk to a healthcare professional first.

Children and teenagers: calorie counting carries a higher risk of disordered eating in under-18s. Trackzy is intended for logging what you eat, not for restricting it. If you are under 18, please involve a parent, guardian or clinician.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Big changes will be announced in the app.
